How to Use: Class/Seminar Creation & Management

As a tutor on Edventure, you have the flexibility to create both recurring classes and one-time seminars, tailoring your offerings to student needs. Follow these steps to set up and manage your courses:

• Initial Setup:
  • First, ensure you are a registered and logged-in tutor. If not, please register here and then log in.
  • During registration, you select the subjects and grades you are qualified to teach. You can only create classes/seminars for these pre-selected subjects and grades.
  • Important: If you need to teach additional subjects or grades, you can update your qualifications from your Tutor Profile section at any time.
• Access Class Creation:
  • Once logged in, navigate to your Tutor Dashboard.
  • Click on the "Create Class" or "Create Seminar" option (depending on your offering type).
• Fill Out Class/Seminar Details:
  • Type: Choose between a 'Class' (recurring sessions) or 'Seminar' (one-time session).
  • Subject & Grade: Select from your registered subjects and grades.
  • Curriculum: Provide a detailed outline of what will be covered.
  • Schedule (for Classes): Set the recurring days and times for your class.
  • Date & Time (for Seminars): Specify the single date and time for your seminar.
  • Pricing:
    • You can offer your class/seminar for Free.
    • Alternatively, set a Paid amount. If paid, you will need to provide your bank account information for payment processing.
• Student Enrollment & Payment Verification:
  • When a student clicks "Enroll" on your paid class/seminar, they will be prompted to upload a receipt of their payment to your provided bank account.
  • You, as the tutor, can then review these receipts. Navigate to the "Enrollments" or "Pending Payments" section on your Tutor Dashboard.
  • Once you verify the payment receipt, you can confirm their enrollment. This action grants the student full access to your class/seminar.
• Manage & Update:
  • From your dashboard, you can view all enrolled students, communicate with them, and track their attendance.
  • You can also edit class/seminar details, update schedules, or modify the curriculum at any time.

This comprehensive system ensures that you have complete control over your teaching environment, from course creation to student management and payment verification.
